ROGUEPIN
Terms
RoguePin is a planning aid for an offshore boat. It is not a certified chart plotter, and it does not replace the rules of the road or your own eyes on the water.
Effective 12 October 2026. Fill in the legal name, mailing address, mailbox, and governing law before a store listing.
Operator. [Legal name and mailing address]
Contact. [Support mailbox]
The app is free to install. You do not need an account to use the chart, drop a pin, or run a drift on that phone. If you create an account, you need an email address you can open, and a password of your own. You are responsible for that login.
Free is the app after you skip the trial, or after a trial or a paid year ends.
Hitting a limit parks a pin. Parking hides it. It does not delete it.
Pro is $19.99 a year, after a 7-day trial on that same product. There is no monthly plan at launch. The store purchase is not connected yet, so the app cannot charge you today. When it is connected, the store shows the price and the trial before you confirm.
During the trial and during a paid year, Pro includes:
When the trial or the year ends, the account returns to Free. One live kelp stays. Other live pins of yours are hidden. They are not deleted. A pin someone sent you does not count as your one kelp.
A landing can hold seats for boats. An assigned boat is Pro while the seat is active. Taking the seat off returns that account to Free. Pins are not deleted. Fleet seats are not for sale yet, and no fleet price is listed until they are.
When a purchase is possible, you cancel in Google Play or the App Store, not inside RoguePin. Cancelling stops the next charge. It does not erase pins. A complimentary Pro flag, used for a test or a promo, is not a store subscription. The operator turns that flag off. It does not bill you.
A pin moves with the wind, the current, and the leeway you chose. The phone draws a search area from that. Water does not owe you the outline. Do not treat a coordinate, a bearing, a deep-drop start, or an anchor swing as a guarantee that the object, the bait, or the boat is there. Use official charts and your own judgment.
A PASS CARD is a picture. A live pin is a mark the other boat can keep on their chart, with your name and the time it was pinned. You are responsible for the place and the note you send. They can remove their copy. You still have yours until you park or delete it.
Do not use the app to break into someone else’s pins, to harass a mate, or to overload the service. We may refuse a complimentary Pro flag, or close an account that is used that way. You can delete your own account in the app. The steps and what is removed are on the delete account page. What we store is on the privacy page.
The phone build, the forecast source, and these terms can change. A cloud drift run is not part of the $19.99 year. If that run ships later, the price for new subscribers can change. People already on $19.99 stay at $19.99. The date at the top of this page changes when the terms change.
RoguePin is provided as it is. To the extent the law allows, the operator is not liable for a missed kelp, a bad start spot, a grounding, or a loss that comes from relying on the drift, the chart, or a pin someone sent. Nothing here limits a right that the law says cannot be limited.
Write to the contact above first. These terms are governed by the laws of [State or country], once that place is the operator’s home. If a store’s own terms also apply to a purchase, those terms govern the charge.
